Update Update
I've finished the new movement scripts, so now both Ally and Enemy units can move a total of 3 spaces, which should make map traversal a little less tedious.
I've also completely reorganized, renamed and added to the variable list. This should make it a little easier to use the engine's common events. I'm still going through the events themselves and trying to label everything better. The original release was literally just my Two Wolves project with the unique assets taken out.
Speaking of assets, with the changes I've made to movement, I'm going to have to make new example maps. I've pretty much eliminated the need for borders around the maps, but they'll still need to be on the smallish side because of a bug that occasionally makes actors disappear on larger maps. I don't know if it's a gameboy hardware issue, or a GB Studio issue, but keeping the maps small seems to solve the problem.
Anyway, once the new example maps are done and bug tested, I'll release Forgotten Engine v2.
I should mention I've switched to GB Studio Beta 5 for this, as a lot of people seem to be using it now, and so far in testing things I haven't had any issues.
I think that's all for now.
