A simple Strategy RPG inspired by Fire Emblem and Shining Force and made using GB Studio.

I'm still working out the plot, but the basic gameplay is finished.

Click on a unit with 'A' to move them.
Click 'Fight' to engage the enemy, or press 'B' to cancel.
Press 'Start' or 'B' to end the turn before both player units have moved.
Press 'Select' to check your current HP.

During the enemy turn, enemy units will target the nearest player unit and attack if within range.

Controls:
D-pad : Arrow keys, WASD
Start : Enter
Select : Shift
'A' button : z
'B' button : x

Some notes: If you click on a unit, you can't cancel out of moving it. This is something I plan to fix eventually, but it's not a priority because it's not a bug. I just didn't think about it when scripting the movement system.

There is a sound bug that crops up rarely. If you encounter it let me know, and also I'm REALLY sorry because it is LOUD. I thought I had solved it.

Lastly, there's a bit of camera jank in a couple of places due to turns now ending automatically after both units have moved. If there are any other issues, please let me know.

The art is really nice and like the music. The enemy theme is really good. It's similar to a game i have in mind so I look forward to seeing how yours develops.

For something that is a prototype, I must say the pixel art looks very nice! It is too bad this version has no battles implemented this time, Im quite excited how that will turn out. I understand it might be a very ambitious project, certainly strategy games that require a lot of balancing. The most important thing is that you can have fun developing it, good luck! :)
